California law requires all servers to register with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) first. Register on the RBS Portal to pay the $3 state fee and generate your mandatory 9-digit Server ID Number (Required to enroll on training.)

Once you have your Server ID Number, you are ready to fulfill your preparatory learning. Enroll on our ABC-approved RBS training course on our learning portal. We will notify ABC of your course completion within 24 hours.

Pass the Official State Exam

After we confirm your training, ABC will open access to the Alcohol Server Certification Exam in your RBS Portal dashboard. Login to the RBS Portal to take the official 50-question assessment and finalize your active certification.
